About the Podcast
Breaking the Good Girl Code is a podcast built for the conversations that make people uncomfortable — because those are often the most important ones to have. Hosted by Tess Jasmine, this is a space where the elephant in the room is not just acknowledged, but pulled up a chair and given a microphone.
Each episode dives into the social constructs, norms, and invisible rules that have quietly shaped our lives — the expectations placed on women from birth, the "good girl" conditioning that teaches us to shrink, stay silent, and keep the peace at the cost of ourselves. Tess and her guests challenge these narratives head-on, with honesty, humour, and a whole lot of heart.
From domestic violence and coercive control to motherhood, identity, workplace inequality, and the pressure to have it all together — no topic is too confronting, no experience too raw. This is where real stories meet real change.

Women and men who have navigated challenges — domestic violence, identity shifts, motherhood, grief, career pivots, or any experience that shaped who they are today.
From teenagers finding their voice to women in their 60s rewriting their story — every chapter of life holds wisdom worth sharing.
Psychologists, social workers, educators, researchers, lawyers, and advocates working in fields that intersect with women's wellbeing, safety, and empowerment.
