Why It Matters

Real knowledge. Real change. Real impact.

The issues Tess speaks to — domestic violence, coercive control, women's empowerment, social constructs, and relationship dynamics — don't exist in isolation. They show up in workplaces, classrooms, staffrooms, and boardrooms every single day. Professional learning that addresses these realities head-on is not just valuable — it is essential.

Tess's programs are not tick-a-box compliance training. They are designed to shift perspective, build genuine capability, and create lasting cultural change in the organisations and communities she works with.

Our Programs

What we offer

Identifying & Responding to DV in the Workplace

For: HR professionals, managers, team leaders

Domestic violence doesn't stay at the front door. This program equips workplace leaders with the knowledge and confidence to identify signs of domestic violence and coercive control in colleagues, understand their duty of care, and respond with sensitivity and appropriate referral pathways. Grounded in current research and lived experience, this is practical, honest professional development that could change — or save — a life.

Participants will:

  • Understand the spectrum of domestic and family violence
  • Recognise behavioural and performance indicators in the workplace
  • Know how to have a safe, supportive conversation
  • Navigate referral pathways and workplace policies
  • Build a workplace culture of safety and non-judgment

Women Working Together: Dismantling Workplace Competition

For: Workplace teams, women's networks, leadership groups

Why do women so often compete rather than collaborate? This session explores the social constructs and conditioning that pit women against each other — and what we can do to change it. Tess facilitates honest, thought-provoking conversations about solidarity, power dynamics, and what genuine professional sisterhood looks like in practice.

Participants will:

  • Understand the social and systemic roots of female competition
  • Identify patterns of undermining and exclusion in professional settings
  • Build strategies for authentic collaboration and allyship
  • Create a culture of mutual support and shared success

Mindset & Empowerment for Educators

For: Teachers, school staff, education leaders

Educators are some of the most influential people in a young person's life — and yet they are rarely given the tools to address the deeper social and emotional landscape their students are navigating. This program supports teachers and school staff to build their own mindset resilience while equipping them with frameworks to create empowering, psychologically safe classrooms.

Participants will:

  • Develop personal mindset tools for resilience and wellbeing
  • Understand the impact of social constructs on student identity
  • Create psychologically safe and empowering learning environments
  • Identify students who may be experiencing family violence
  • Embed empowerment language and practices into daily teaching

Relationship Building in Schools

For: Teachers, school counsellors, student services staff

Healthy relationships — with self, peers, and authority figures — are the foundation of student wellbeing and learning. This program draws on Tess's background in education and her deep understanding of social dynamics to help school staff build genuine, trust-based relationships with students, and equip young people with the language and tools to navigate their own relationships with confidence.

Participants will:

  • Build authentic, trust-based relationships with students
  • Understand the role of attachment and belonging in learning
  • Teach students to identify healthy and unhealthy relationship patterns
  • Create school-wide cultures of respect and connection

Student Empowerment & Social Constructs Program

For: Secondary students, youth groups

Designed for young people navigating some of the most formative years of their lives, this program challenges the social constructs and narratives that shape how they see themselves and each other. Through honest conversation, reflection, and practical tools, students are invited to question, grow, and step into their own power.

Participants will:

  • Explore and challenge social constructs around gender, identity, and worth
  • Build self-awareness and emotional intelligence
  • Develop tools for healthy communication and boundary-setting
  • Understand the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships
  • Leave with a stronger sense of self and agency
